We celebrated our mom’s birthday. We had a wonderful experience. Ordered Beggar’s Chicken in advance and the dish which was an eye opening experience. We ordered Peking duck, home made tofu, sweet sour pork, braised egg plant. The service was great. We bought a birthday cake and they decorated it with longevity buns which was complimentary. My mom had a wonderful birthday experience
Been here a few times. Like the restaurant ambient, Chinese with modern vibes.
Staff services are good but not 100% attentive and not all staffs are able to take orders in full authority.
Went a few times but not very pleased with their fishes selection as they are always limited with kinds of fish they have which I would not have expect from this flagship restaurant of Crystal Jade.
Understand the shortage on South Africa abalone, I’m surprised they managed to get the dried abalone version from there.
Hope they can further improve on the above comments
Their truffle ee fu mian is our family fave. A must to order. A place where you can easily spot service staff and they are very attentive to your needs.
You will never go wrong with the service at such Chinese restaurant, with the nice aunties and uncles serving you:).
It's been a long time since I last came here, and came for the dim sum lunch. Honestly, I think dim sum lunch is quite similar here and there, even among the top brands, so the taste of the dim sum here is quite expected, good but nothing WOW.
Like that the tables are big and spacious here.
Dinner on a Sunday for table of 8. The place is not crowded at all unlike in the past. Had suckling pig and is nice as is it not very fatty. The manager who served us was a Hong Konger and could not really speak mandarin and English. Could hardly understand him. Service wasn’t great.
Some of the food are really good and some are disappointing. Love the guava pickles, shallots oil noodle, porridge, butter buns and dumpling soup. The char sew Soh and XO carrot cake is very disappointing, personally opinion.
In order to get in the queue you will need to scan the QR code to get the number, there are also 2 entrances the website says you will be seated soon but this invincible queue looks endless as there are quite a lot of empty seats and you are there asking yourself is it my turn yet?
Once you get the seat and that table smells super bad maybe wash the cloth before wiping?
Ordering of food, it's not by the internet. The service staff that takes your order and serving is better than the one that takes you to your seat.
Food was decent and served fast, the curry fishball and scallops don't feel like HK more like SG curry
Had a late lunch on a weekday afternoon. The restaurant was down with only a handful of service crews, likely they have left for their break. The staff was pretty rude, it felt like watching an old HKG drama with the scene playing at the 茶餐厅 served by rude and loud service crews. The staff delegated the task to the manager when we requested to refill the tea 😂. Thankfully the managers were very accommodating and polite. Don’t let them spoilt your appetite and enjoy the food.
